Description
This collection is a reprint of a diesel locomotive diagram book which was last revised by the Central of Georgia Railway on May 25, 1951. It includes line drawings and mechanical data for all of the diesel locomotives on the railroad as of that date. Such diagram books were issued to railroad employees who needed the information for various operational reasons.
When the Central of Georgia Railway began acquiring diesel locomotives, the corresponding equipment diagrams were merely added to the existing steam locomotive diagram books. As the number of diesels increased, a separate diagram book for diesel locomotives was issued.
