The Atlantic Brass Company has announced production of an HO scale brass model of a Central of Georgia tongue and groove "short" caboose.
The models will be factory painted freight car red with white stenciling and will feature the script-style "The Right Way" stenciling, representing cars repainted and shopped in the late 1940s through early 1950s. Details include working leaf springs on the trucks, factory painted interiors with cupola seats, three working interior lamps, stainless steel wheels, Kadee No. 58 scale couplers, and detailed underframe and brake gear.
Three road numbers will be available: X23, X36, and X53.
Only 100 models will be produced.
These new brass cabooses are scheduled to be released in late 2010, and will be available from your favorite brass dealer, or direct from Atlantic Brass Company (252-638-3864, ask for Keith Grubbs or Don Black). The Society will have a limited number of these cars available for purchase at train shows.

The Society provided consultation and artwork for the production of these models.
