Bluford Shops has released their new N scale 70-ton three-bay offset side hopper car in the Central of Georgia's "The Right Way" scheme, representing a 1955 repaint. The models have an oxide red carbody with white stenciling and represent cars in the CofGa's 700-899 series of open hoppers built in 1934 by Pullman.
The models feature a styrene carbody, diecast slope sheet/hopper bay/center sill assembly, separately molded details, coal load, body-mounted Accumate couplers, and trucks.
Six road numbers are available in one-, two-, and three-packs: 753 (stock 73051), 771 and 849 (stock 73052), and 702, 826, and 897 (stock 73053).
The Society provided artwork for the production of these models.
These models were released in October 2010 and should be available from your favorite hobby dealer.
