Passenger Car Paint Schemes - 1901 Standard was "Medium Shade Tuscan Red."
- At some unknown time Pullman Green was adopted. This probably occurred prior to WWI.
- Pullman Green with black roof, underframe and trucks became the standard for all conventional cars until 1947 when some heavyweight cars were modernized and painted Blue and Gray to match the new "streamlined" cars.
- The Blue and Gray scheme was discontinued beginning in 1959 when Pullman Green once again became the standard.
- Blue and Gray was first used on Baggage-Express Cars (453-458)* and Mail and Baggage Cars (473-474) delivered new from American Car & Foundry (ACF) in 1945.
* 456 & 457 later equipped with roller bearings and tightlock couplers for use as mail storage cars on Nancy Hanks II.

Office Cars Office Car 97 - Built in the Savannah Coach Shop in 1905 for the Company president.
- In the 1920's it was sold to the Live Oak Perry and Gulf.
- LOP&G sold car to the Georgia Northern in the late 1920's.
- Lucius Beebe and Charles Clegg purchased the car from Mr. Pidcock of the Georgia Northern in 1948 and moved it to Carson City on the Virginia and Truckee Railway where it was repaired and refurbished.
- The car was then renamed the GOLD COAST while retaining the original number and CENTRAL OF GEORGIA on the letterboard.
- In 1950, the car was presented to the Pacific Coast Chapter of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society for perpetual preservation.
- It is currently on display in Sacramento in the California State Railroad Museum
Office Car COLUMBUS - Rebuilt in the Savannah Coach Shop in November 1920 from Illinois Central Car No. 3855 as CofGa 100.
- At the time it had a mahogany finish with painted ceilings.
- It had Baker and Vapor heating systems, five ceiling fans and five 9" bracket fans for cooling.
- The floors were carpeted.
- It had wooden double window sash.
- In August 1937, the car was air conditioned by the Central of Georgia in Savannah with an ice activated system.
- On January 26, 1953, Office Car 100 was named COLUMBUS.
- Between 1955 and 1958, the wooden window sashes were replaced with new double glazed aluminum sash windows.
- It is currently on display at the Roundhouse Museum in Savannah following extensive restoration.
Office Car SAVANNAH - Originally named MARCO POLO, was built in 1927 by Pullman to be part of its general pool for rental service.
- Franklin Delano Roosevelt first used the car when he was governor of New York, then had it leased by the U. S. Government for his continued use in the early years of his presidency.
- Bars used by him to assist in moving around in the car were preserved by the Central of Georgia when the car was rebuilt in the Savannah Coach Shop to become the Office Car SAVANNAH.
- When Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, wife of China's war time president, toured the U.S., the car was assigned to her. When she visited her alma mater, Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, the car was carried on a special train of the Central of Georgia.
- The Central of Georgia bought the car in 1944.
- The car is presently located in the Washington, DC train station and presumably used by Norfolk Southern to entertain guests.
- CENTRAL OF GEORGIA and the name SAVANNAH have been removed, replaced with PULLMAN and MARCO POLO respectively.
Office Car ATLANTA - Rebuilt in the Savannah Coach Shop from Coach 647 in 1949.
- The 647 was formerly Pullman Parlor Car EDITH, built in 1925 and purchased in 1942 by the CofGa for war time use as a coach.
- The Southern Railway sold the ATLANTA to Atlantic Creosoting Co. in 1970 who moved the car to its Port Wentworth, GA facility where it remained until recently.
- The car is now located in the Roundhouse Museum at Savannah along with the COLUMBUS.
